Choosing The Right Packaging For Your Gifts

People often overlook the packaging part when it comes to giving gifts. And this often result in embarrassment, disappointment, and bad impression to the person giving the gift and the person receiving the gift. Most people must have such experience in the past, because they just don’t pay enough attention when doing the packaging part.

A GREAT PACKAGING STARTS FROM WITHIN

That statement above might pause you for a while, but it simply means, what’s inside that packaging/box should reflect the quality of the packaging. Put simply, for instance, if you’re giving a diamond ring as a Valentine’s gift (Noo! Maybe NOT??! lol), you would want to use a very high quality packaging, perhaps a specially made jewellery box made from Gold (ouch!) if you like. On the other hand, if you’re only giving a Valentine’s Greeting Card (maybe broke ;), you absolutely wouldn’t need to use a very expensive packaging, in this case using a simple white plain envelope is the common sense. Doing it otherwise, will shock the person receiving the gift for sure.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT COLOR FOR YOUR GIFT PACKAGING

Most people have their own color preference. If you’re going to give a gift to a man/male person, make it look as attractive to a man as possible, if you choose pink for the packaging, this might turn him down or at least makes him feel weird (unless the he is a queer :). If you’re a female, you can make your gift look classy for your man by choosing gold as the color of your gift packaging. For women, no doubt that most of them like pink. You can see here that the choice of color can play important role in this part. So make sure you choose the right color, it’s always a good idea to find out the favourite color of the person you’re going to give the gift to. Hey, it’s better to be safe than sorry, right?
